Running snmpconf I chose "nobody" as the user to run
the snmpd as. What are the ramifications for doing so?
Does this put limitations on the ability to read
system process tables? My archetectures will be:
Solaris 2.8, Suse SLES 8 and perhaps even Tru64 5.1b.

Certainly I could see how you could not check file
sizes of a file owned by !nobody :-).

Is running snmpd as root inherently non-secure and
strongly unadvised?

TIA
