Hello all,

I'm currently implementing my own handler for the SNMP-TARGET-MIB using the
net-snmp library functions. (I've embedded the net-snmp agent within our
product which maintains all the MIB data in local tables.)

I seem to have an issue though -- there doesn't seem to be a function to
properly interpret the snmpTargetAddrTAddress string based on the value of
snmpTargetAddrTDomain oid. I.E., I know in the default handler for this MIB
that comes with the package, the netsnmp_tdomain_transport_oid function is
called to create a netsnmp_transport structure for the address and domain,
however my MIB table contains a tstring (e.g. "10.128.64.3/162") and this
function expects an ostring (ie u_char str[] = {10,128,64,3,162,0}). I can't
seem to find the code within the original MIB handler that converts the tstring
to the correct ostring based on the domain oid. How does this work? Am I
missing something?

I'm working with version 5.2.1.2 of net-snmp.

Thanks,

Anna
