Please try working through the checklist given in the FAQ entry: I've added my code to this template and it still doesn't work. Why not? It might also be worth using 'snmpgetnext' rather than 'snmpget' The other thing is the OID that you're using. The IETF Bridge MIB is rooted at .1.3.6.1.2.1.17, so I'm not sure where .1.3.6.1.4.1.272.... comes into it. Check where your module is registering itself.
