Hi >From system_mib.c , the sysUpTime is calculated using the current time and "starttime".
But when the system time changes, the sysUpTime shows a wrong value. Did anybody face this problem? If so how was this overcome . And is there any particular reason as to why sysUpTime is obtained from current time(using gettimeofday() ). I was thinking on using the time from /proc/uptime and storing the /proc/uptime in the "starttime" when agent starts . To calculate sysUpTime just get the /proc/uptime again and subtract from starttime!!! Is it feasible? Please comment on this. Regards Suma PS:Had posted the same query on Coders list :-) ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
