Hello,
I already read your webpage a lot of times, but I can?t find what I?m
searching for, and I hope that you can help me, or you know who can. I
like to run a deamon on a linux client. I wrote a MIB and now I?d like
to expand the functionality of the Deamon via exec token in the
snmpd.conf file (this runs for GET commands). But my question is, how
can I get the a value from a SET command into my application like "exec
.1.3.6.1.4.1... multiplexStatus /etc/snmp/program "
Or is there a possibility to overgive parameter dynamicly with a SET
command? Is it a good way to catch the requests from a manager or should
I prefer the shared object method?
I?ll be very happy if you can help me a step forward,
thanks a lot
