Even if snmpv3 is based on usm users, it has to create the UDP PDU with the manager's ip.Right? Using 'trapsess', I've configured the manager to receive informs. Using 'createUser', I have created a user, with the manager's engine id (as manager is the authoritative for informs). When I start the agent, how would the agent know which usm entry (whose index is username+engineid) to use for this manager. One possibility is that it will go discover the manager (because it knows the manager's ip thru trapsess) and populate the snmpTargetTable, snmpNotifyTables etc.
