It depends on how the software was configured originally.

/usr/local/etc/snmpd.conf should be on the search path (assuming a
default configuration).
If that's not working, try running

    snmpd -f -Le -Dread_config --quit

The first couple of lines will indicate where the agent is looking for
config files.
