I have changed the parameters of registration with net-snmp 5.3.1, and now I
don't get anymore the error message 'registering pdu failed: 263!'.
Moreover, with the trace activated around the function
netsnmp_register_table_data_set, I get the correct informations.

The problem is that my rows are not correctly registered (I see that with
netsnmpwalk)

The trace fo my first application:
App1.conf: line 3: Warning: Unknown token: rocommunity.

callback: END calling callbacks for maj=1 min=1 (1 called)
trace:  callback.c, 150:
9:callback:lock: unlocked (APP,null)
Index found=1.
App1 is up and running.

If I relaunch my application App1, I get the index 2 and in the trace it is
registered with the right index (not duplicated):

handler::register: Registering genServerTable
(::table::table_data::netsnmp_table_data_set::genServerTable) at
SNMPv2-SMI::enterp
rises.99999.10000.1.1.1--5.2
trace:  agent_handler.c, 342:
handler:inject: injecting bulk_to_next before table
trace:  agent_registry.c, 606:
register_mib: registering "genServerTable" at
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.99999.10000.1.1.1--5.2 with context "(null)"

Unfortunately, when I do an snmpwalk, I get:
GEN-MONITORING-MIB::genServerIndex.1.2.1 = Wrong Type (should be Gauge32 or
Unsigned32): STRING: "Test1"
GEN-MONITORING-MIB::genServerIndex.1.3.1 = Wrong Type (should be Gauge32 or
Unsigned32): STRING: "Test2"
GEN-MONITORING-MIB::genServerIndex.1.4.1 = Wrong Type (should be Gauge32 or
Unsigned32): STRING: "Test3"
GEN-MONITORING-MIB::genServerIndex.1.5.1 = Gauge32: 1500
GEN-MONITORING-MIB::genServerIndex.1.2.1 = Wrong Type (should be Gauge32 or
Unsigned32): STRING: "Test1"
Error: OID not increasing: GEN-MONITORING-MIB::genServerIndex.1.5.1
 >= GEN-MONITORING-MIB::genServerIndex.1.2.1

which is totally in contradiction with the debug informations.

At the moment, I don't know if the problem comes from the creation of the
row/registration the row with the master agent.

I'm still in investigation, and I'll appreciate any help.

To my point of view, the debug traces are correct and identical to what I
was expecting.

Arnaud.
