Have you tried working through the checklist given in the FAQ entry:
    I've added my code to this template and it still doesn't work.  Why not?

PS:  It's not clear whether the OID you mention above is for the
variable-example module or your own code.  But we would ask that you
don't use random OIDs from the netSnmp tree.
There is a MIB object 'netSnmpPlaypen' specifically intended for this
sort of testing.
   Please use that area for initial development, and apply for your
own enterprise number (free!) if you're going to be making your module
more widely available.
