Hi,

I have a problem with SNMP not working well in one of our servers.

One the server which has the problem:  bash-2.05$   ps -ef | grep snmpd gives me :

    root 12487     1  0   Sep 08 ?        0:56 /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx -y -c /etc/snmp/conf

On all other servers which are working fine, I get the following:

bash-2.05$ ps -ef | grep snmpd

    root  7109     1  0   Sep 05 ?       19:18 /usr/local/sbin/snmpd -c /usr/local/etc/snmpd.conf

Is there some difference between SNMPD and SNMPDX ??

Thanks,

sg
