Thanks very much for the hints - I've now got a compiled version of 5.4pre3 on a Sun X4100 server, and the ifXTable data seems to be working nicely. Unfortunately, the UCD-SNMP-MIB::systemStats stuff is still broken on Solaris (apparently because the Solaris version of the new hardware abstraction layer code in cpu_kstat.c isn't functioning properly. Is there any likelihood of this getting fixed before release? I really want to be able to use the ifXTable counter, but I don't want to lose my CPU/Interrupt monitoring as a side effect. As Sun are shipping net-snmp these days (albeit a really old version) I'd have hoped they'd be interested in fixing this stuff on Solaris.
