But that depends on the version of the software. The 'host' module was only added to the default build with release 5.3. No - that should be fine. A simple "snmpwalk" with no explicit starting OID will walk the 'mib-2' tree (i.e. .1.3.6.1.2.1). This covers the Host Resources information (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25). It's only vendor-specific MIBs (and SNMP infrastructure) that tends to be sited outside this tree - IETF-standard MIBs would normally be covered by this default walk.
