I'd like to use 5.1.2 snmptrap on Solaris 9, but it complains about a missing libcrypto.so.0.9.7. Is there a workaround?
So it seems clear that no OpenSSL is installed. I can't make the missing lib from the OpenSSL packages, because there is no development environment on this machine (no cc, no gcc, no make, etc). I don't see any binaries anywhere. Likewise I can't build a my own net-snmp with crypto turned off. I tried net-snmp 5.1 and 4.2. I don't see any older ones anywhere, I was hoping to get lucky and find some binaries without SSL support and that would work under Solaris 9. Any ideas? It's kind of a shame that we don't have a lightweight user-mode utility to send V1 traps. A standalone image, with static libs linked in, would be very portable and very nice. _________________________________________________________________ Experience the magic of the holidays.
