It's been a while since I used HP Open View but I recall that you used
to have to load your MIB file in to OV before you could use them, have
done that?

Subject: Problem with HP Open View

        Hi,

I wrote a simple MIB.I can run snmpget and snmpset to change my
MIB variables but when I use HP Open View I can't set or get a specific
variable.I just can query a tree or whole MIB.
        has anybody seen that before?

        Regards,
        Reza
