Hello All,

We have installed the perl module for NetSNMP 5.4 on
linux.

---------------------------------------------------
net-snmp version: 5.4
Perl version : 5.8.8
Machine details:
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.18-1.2798.fc6xen #1
SMP Mon Oct 16 15:11:19 EDT 2006 i686 athlon i386
GNU/Linux
---------------------------------------------------

We are facing the error given below while running
mib2c.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[EMAIL PROTECTED] usr]# mib2c
ERROR: You don't have the SNMP perl module installed.
Please obtain
this by getting the latest source release of the
net-snmp toolkit from
http://www.net-snmp.org/download/ . Once you download
the source and
unpack it, the perl module is contained in the
perl/SNMP directory.
See the README file there for instructions.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have installed the net-snmp and perl module as
given in the README and INSTALL files.

Earlier the same quetion was raised (on April 09,
2007) and Adam gave his suggestion to try with
“—with-perl-modules” option.

We tried the same but still facing the same problem.

Can anyone please help us to resolve this?

Thanks,
Sumathy.B
