hi all, I've installed netsnmp ver 5.4 in linux montaVista. I
configured agentx by adding these lines in snmpd.conf:master agentxagentxsocket
tcp:localhost:705 When I run snmpd by the command ./snmpd and check for the
processes (ps -ef | grep snmpd) its not showing any process with snmpd.So I
tried running snmpd by using the follwing command:./snmpd -f -LeThis command
also doesnot run snmpd but exits by throwing the following error:Error:
Couldn't open a master agentx socket to listen on (tcp:localhost:705): What
could be the reason for this error. How can i run my master???Please give some
inputs.
