I am trying to fetch the value for
*ipSystemStatsInOctets*<javascript:gmo('tree','ipSystemStatsInOctets','');>object
from the ipSystemStatsTable table in ip-mib. Accordingly to
http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/docs/README.agent-mibs.html ( see line
ipSystemStatsTable L 5.2 M ip-mib/=/* ) I am able to do that on a
Linux sistem (i.e. mandriva 2008 kernel 2.6.xxx 32 bit architecture running
snmpd 5.4.1). However when a try a snmpget on that scalar, I get a
"IP-MIB::ipSystemStatsInOctets No Such Instance currently exists at this
OID" error. Snmpwalk-ing its container table however (ipSystemStatsTable)
gives some encouraging output though:

or not ? If I am, how to enable it.
