Hi Dave,

Previously did not cc to Net-snmp-users mail group. So sending the mail
again.

Thanks for the reply. Yes. I have RFC-4001 for INET-ADDRESS-MIB in all
servers.

I found the problem. There was an obsolete file RFC-3291 for
INET-ADDRESS-MIB in the same dir. Somehow this file was referred for
imports in IP-MIB.txt. When I deleted RFC-3291 file, everything was
fine. Interesting thing to know is that I do have same set of MIBs in
that dir. in all Linux servers. Also that file RFC-3291 is not with .txt
extension. Why I did not see this problem in other Linux servers running
CentOs 4.3 and I saw this problem only in CentOS 4.5.
Also how a MIB file with no .txt extension was referred for imports by
net-snmp running in CentOS4.5?

I would like to be member of Net-snmp-users mail list. Could you
include me in the list.

My email to include: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Thanks a lot.

Alamelu

Check the directory /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs
Does it include the file INET-ADDRESS-MIB.txt?

Try comparing the two versions of INET-ADDRESS-MIB.txt.
Are they the same, or different?

Dave
