Hello SNMPers, I am looking for a way to extract the DESCRIPTIONs of
certain MIB OID's. I can get a report for a OID via ' snmptranslate
-mALL -Td '
example...
> snmptranslate -mALL -Td 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.3.1.0.7
TIMETRA-SYSTEM-MIB::radiusOperStatusChange
radiusOperStatusChange NOTIFICATION-TYPE
-- FROM TIMETRA-SYSTEM-MIB
OBJECTS { radiusOperStatus }
DESCRIPTION "The radiusOperStatusChange notification is generated
when the
radiusOperStatus has transitioned either from 'up' to 'down' or
from 'down' to 'up'"

timetra(6527) timetraProducts(3)

Basically all I want is the DESCRIPTION text
The radiusOperStatusChange notification is generated when the
radiusOperStatus has transitioned either from 'up' to 'down' or from
'down' to 'up'
Any ideas or suggestions ?
