I would like to know if there is a way to control one object in a module
from the subagent, yet allow the rest of the objects to be controlled by
the master agent.
Specifically I would like to have the subagent control (handle the get
and set) for snmpEnableAuthenTraps, but allow the master agent to handle
all the other objects in the snmp_mib module.
I tried to use the -I option in the command line:
./snmpd -f -Le -Dmib_init -I -snmpEnableAuthenTraps
but this did not work.
Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer the master
agent handle the snmp statistics in the snmp_mib, as the sub agent does
not have this data, but I need to control the set value for the
snmpEnableAuthenTraps.
If this is not possible - how would the subagent be able to get the snmp
statistics from the master agent?
Any info on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
