Hi Mike, Thanks for your quick reply. Okay I used 5.4.2.1 version also with the same answer. After starting snmpd from /usr/local/sbin/snmpd, I checked the ps -A | grep snmp and it was running. When I GDB snmpd, I found it was taking some different port than 161.
Should I specify port 161 for this and how? What else setting / configuration option should I check.
