        I'm not certain, but I believe that is always a bad thing to do.  I 
believe that major versions of dynamic libraries are generally considered 
incompatible.  I would recommend re-compiling your net-snmp on that machine to 
pick up the new sensors library, but, again, I am not an expert on these things.
