Well, have a think about what things are going to look
to the network administrator - simply using this without
necessarily knowing what the code actually does.

By the principle of least astonishment:

  - if I remove an entry from snmpd.conf. and reload
       the config files, then I'd expect these settings
       to disappear from the agent.

  - if I set up configuration dynamically (using snmpset)
        and reload the config files, then I'd expect these
        settings to remain in the agent.

As an administrator, I don't really care how that's achieved.
But I'd be pretty annoyed if the dynamic entries disappeared
whenever the static config was refreshed!


   The easiest approach would probably be for the dynamic
entries to be written to the persistent config file (/var/net-snmp),
the whole internal config cleared, and then all the config files
(including /var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf) reloaded.
   I _think_ that should have the desired effect.....
