use the version: net-snmp-5.4.1-3.win32.exe
got the window version 32 SNMP pre-compiled binary.
got MIBs from cable labs, and Motorola I work for. Both of which
facilitate the DOCSIS 3.0 MIBs included IPv6 MIBs.
set cmIpv6 2001:db8::1428:57ab ==>won't work==>>could not recognize the
host
set prefix UDP6:$cmIpv6 ==> UDP6:2001:db8::1428:57ab ==> won't work
==>could not recognize the host
snmpwalk -M C:\usr\mibs -c $in_community $cmIpv6 $in_objVarVal
yet plug the cmIp which is Ipv4 address works fine.
I guess I might not use appropriate options and/or format of IPv6.
like to have a sample snmpwalk options and proper IPv6 format to allow
me to run IPv6?
By the way I use MG-soft version 11, it works IPv6.
Wes, are you suggesting to "format the IPv6 addresses surrounded by
'[]'s" ?
