Solaris - 9 Net-snmp - 5.4.1 I've got around 311 disks on this machine, and I'm trying to poll the diskIOTable to get statistics on each disk. The table index stops at 128.
Is this a limitation of the MIB or am I on an old version of net-snmp that has some sort of bug? If it is a limitation how is anyone else watching disk activity on a system that has > 128 disks per-slice or any thoughts on how to increase the index count? I tried using some iostat parsing scripts I found and passing to them, but they run way to slow for the amount of disks that I have. The diskIOTable executes and returns all the information back very quickly and I am able to use it for making rrdgraphs. Any ideas?
