As Mike says, this indicates a fairly fundamental problem. If you have a look in /tmp, there should be a series of directories, one for each failed test. Each directory will contain copies of the configuration files used, the commands run, and various logs of exactly what happened. These should give you some indication of what is going wrong. Let us know the details, and maybe we can help advise how to fix things.
