The standard way of doing this would be to define the MIB object
using a syntax that involved a suitable DISPLAY-HINT ("d-1")

Unfortunately, given that this particular UPS MIB object was not
defined in this way, you'll either have to tweak your personal copy
of the MIB file (hence making it non-standard!), or use a script
to process the output.
But DISPLAY-HINT is the standard mechanism for handling this.
