Hi,
Recently, we migrated our application (using net-snmp) from 32bit
solaris x86 architecture to 64bit Linux x86 architecture.
After, the migration, the application stopped sending traps/alarms.
The error in the log file is as below.
"snmp_build: unknown failuresnmpd: send_trap: Error building ASN.1
representation (build int size 4: s/b 8)"
We use net-snmp version 5.4.1.2
Are there any specific flags to be provided while running ./configure
script?
Following was used
"./configure
--prefix=/export/<app_name>/installations/netsnmp/5.4.1.2"
Request you to let know on what could be the issue and probable
solution.
