Yes  this is possible by net-snmp.

Would like to know one thing, Is that you are creating a daemon it-self or
an SNMP Agent? :-)


(Personally, I mean 'only me', have no Idea about SNMP daemon development.
If it is with a SNMP agent, I
can help you out to some extent getting it started and guide you till you
accomplish)
