Thank you for your answer; I understand what you mean, but I would like to know snmpd by which of the function changes the listening address; you know / dev / null is a block device file, the general order can not be changed;
please help one again ; Thank you ; 张莉 [email protected] 发件人: Xiang Li [mailto:[email protected]] 发送时间: 2011年6月4日 10:16 收件人: "张莉|li.zhang" 抄送: [email protected] 主题: Re: 答复: snmpd&/dev/null error I think I already answered your question. But here I am willing to try one more time. the way you specified the command: snmpd -Lsd CLf /var/log/snmpd.log /dev/null This causes the snmpd argument parser to take "/dev/null" as the "listening address". Normally you would be specifying something like 192.168.2.1:161. But since you used /dev/null at that place, the parser would treat it as an "Unix domain socket" and try to open it. While it is trying to open it it changed its permission from character device (you saw a'c' before) into an unix domain socket (you saw a 's' after). In your words /dev/null "文件属性 从c 变成了s". The snmpd argument parser assumes the listening address is an Unix domain if the first character of the <transport-address> is '/'. I suggest you simply remove /dev/null from your config.
