First thing - what exactly are you trying to do? And what exactly are you looking at? Your comments so far have been somewhat vague: "I am able to read it" - what is "it" here? "its Access is set to read-only" - again, what is "it"? Which particular MIB objects are you looking at? The ipv4InterfaceTable (and the IPv6 equivalent) are mostly read-only, yes (apart from the EnableStatus object, which is read-write, but not read-create) But the ipAddressTable is specifically designed with the intention of configuring IP addresses for a given interface, and hence many of the objects are read-create, > as i searched and concluded that, no body can not change Standard/RFC MIB > files which located at /usr/shares/snmp/mibs path. You shouldn't think of changing standard MIBs, no. Possibly augment them, but don't change them, But I'm not convinced that this is actually necessary.
