This doesn't looks like a SNMP issue. But normal linking issue of shared
objects. If its linux, you can try-out by setting /etc/ld.so.conf

Subject: shared object library location of snmpd

Hi All,

    Could you please let me know the shared library PATH that net-snmp uses to
look for .so?
I have built a test1.so which inturn has another shared lib(called sample.so)
in it. When I load
the test1.so, it complains about 'unable to read sample.so'.

SNMP table: UCD-DLMOD-MIB::dlmodTable

            dlmodName                                          dlmodPath

dlmodError dlmodStatus
 nstAgentPluginObject
/scratch/net_snmp_Shared_Object_test/nstAgentPluginObject.so dlopen failed:
libsample.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
error

    Please let me know where should I copy the sample.so so that net-snmp can
read it at run time.

Thanks,
-karthi
