Normally there would be two possible explanations.

Either the value returned is different in the second case
   (and includes a non-printable character).
Or else the command used in the second case is
   specifying that the value should be printed as Hex.

Neither of these sound particularly likely, but you didn't
show the exact commands that you gave. so I can't
rule out the second option.


Can you try the following please:

     $   snmpgetnext   -Oa  ....    wsAceessBanner
     $   snmpget       -Oa  ....    wsAceessBanner.0

Do you still see the same behaviour?

If so, please try adding the option '-d' to both commands,
and post the full results.
