I can't immediately see why this is appearing, no.
The 5.7 Fedora RPM just has dependencies on libcrypto.so.10
and libssl.so.10 (which is presumably the Fedora 15 versioning
for OpenSSL 1.0.0)
All I can suggest is rebuild the RPM while catching the output
("rpmbuild .... 2&>1 | tee logfile" works for me), and examine
the results to see what's happening in the RPM dependency stage
