That's the key here - "as per snmpd.conf"
The snmpd.conf file contains information about where traps (and informs)
should be directed, and what version/admin settings/etc to use.
That's true whether you are using AgentX subagents, or modules
included within the main agent.
The code generated by "mib2c.notify.conf" is used to say
"please send this trap, with these values.
I assume you know where it's meant to go",
and the agent says
"yes, that's fine - don't you worry your pretty little
head about it"
