Assuming you are using SNMPv1 or SNMPv2c,
and the Cisco boxes are using the same community
string as before - then no.   The trap receiver should
be able to receive and process those incoming traps.

It's not clear what you mean by "your MIB" here.
But probably - no.    It shouldn't be necessary
(or desirable) to make any changes to MIB files.

If you add the relevant Cisco MIBs to your linux server,
then this will probably improve the way that the incoming
traps are logged.   (i.e. you'll see names rather than numbers).
So yes - ideally you should add the relevant MIBs.

But if you can't, then this doesn't really matter - you will still
receive the incoming traps, and will be able to process or log
them anyway.
