Hello sir, In my snmpd.conf file following lines are generating a trap after 25 seconds, as the value of 1.3.6.1.2.1.6.3 = 120000 notificationEvent tcpRtoMax.0 TCP-MIB::tcpRtoMax.0 1.3.6.1.2.1.6.3 monitor -u root -S -t -r 25 "Warn: High Disk Usage" -e tcpRtoMax.0 1.3.6.1.2.1.6.3 - - 90000 119999 But following lines are not generating any trap after 25 seconds.. If I will write "-s" instead of "-S" it is generating a same trap at a "snmpd" start up.plz explain me the reason ? why it is not triggering like above ?? I want to generate a trap when its value get changed . For that what should I do? Kindly reply notificationEvent tcpRtoMax.0 TCP-MIB::tcpRtoMax.0 1.3.6.1.2.1.6.3 monitor -u root -S -t -r 25 "Warn: High Disk Usage" -e tcpRtoMax.0 1.3.6.1.2.1.6.3 != 90000 Thanks in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
