Hi Mika, net-snmp 5.1.2 is so old (it was released about 10 years ago) that you probably won't find anyone who knows any of the details of how it behaves any more.
You're more likely to find some help if you try a more recent release, like 5.7.2 (or even the 5.7.3.pre5 pre-release). You'll find a lot of bugs have been fixed and a lot of functionality has been added.
