Hi Sudhagar, I am running version 5.7.2.1 and just dealt with the issue of init_snmp() crashing my application for a couple of weeks. It was finally tracked down to an issue with MD5 and FIPS-enabled OpenSSL. I searched online and found the following patch, which solved my problem:
https://github.com/Metaswitch/centos-clearwater-net-snmp/blob/master/SOURCES/net-snmp-5.7.2-fips.patch I wouldn't have found the problem with logging. I had to use the debugger to trace through calls. Good luck!
