[netatalk-admins] fastest print-spooling

hi!

at our student newspaper we have set up netatalk as fileserver for out
8 Mac's (ranging from G3 to IIcx). working just fine. 

we also have a brand-new apple laserwriter 8500 which is printing via
Appletalk. 

our problem is that spooling large files from QuarkXpress or Photoshop
takes very long time. my question is:  is it likely to get a
considerable speed-gain in setting up netatalk as a print-spooler for
the macs also?
