I noticed an older post about this but couldn't find a reply.
Just installed Netatalk 1.4b2+asun2.1.3 on RedHat Linux (the .rpm
version failed to work at all). After a normal boot, the Linux box
remains invisible to Mac, and re-sending a START to
/etc/rc.d/init.d/atalk.init returns the message:
atalkdbind: Cannot assign requested address
bind: Cannot assign requested address
Sending both STOP, then START to /etc/rc.d/init.d/atalk.init works
(after about 60 seconds of churning).
Any ideas?
