This is no joke, folks!
Today several pdf files disappeared in front of a colleagues� eyes.
Please re-read my prior mails on this subject.
Isn�t this important enough to discuss?

Details of today:
All the work is done from an iMac.
Scans are assembled into a pdf file, which is saved to a network volume
on the Linux box.
(As it happens, the person used a folder which is a link to a different
disk on the same server).
The file was the opened, modified and saved back to its location.
Then the file was dragged in the finder from its present location to a
different folder on the server - across partitions, but that wasn�t
known to the person operating the iMac.
The file concerned appeared in its new location.
At the same instant, ALL THE OTHER FILES IN THE SOURCE DIRECTORY
DISAPPEARED!
To clarify: She dragged one of several files from folder A to folder B,
afterwards folder A was empty - I mean like totally empty =8-(
