message from now

this past our future our present,
to only historicize these images transforms our
responsibility to them to one of uncomfortable consumption,
not to see these always already as current is a disservice
to their memory, their memory as always current.

all speech is history. speech takes time to reach the listener.
the listener takes time to process what after all is only sound.
all speech, all images, are already history. these images, now,
reconstruct the present.

so many in the world are on the verge; of this now; of this
occurrence; now.

this reconstruction of the present; of a potential present;
of a now.
