Ele Carpenter has been engaging the Game/Play artists in conversations about their work during the exhibition. The artists are based in eight countries and several time zones; the exhibition takes place in two venues: Q Arts in Derby, and HTTP in London, UK. This forum is a unique opportunity for all the artists to come together and discuss their practise and concepts behind their work with Ele and other artists and writers, who are part of the exhibition, along with others who are also interested joining in on the discussions.
Ele is a researcher with CRUMB, at the University of Sunderland www.crumbweb.org; and is currently working on her website www.elecarpenter.org.uk
Game/Play is a networked national touring exhibition focusing on the rhetorical constructs game and play. This collaboration between Q Arts, Derby and HTTP Gallery, London provides a basis for exchange and interaction between audiences, artists, curators and writers through the exhibitions and networked activity.
