Etoy: Mission Eternity / Lecture + workshop

With their long term project Mission Eternity the art group Etoy 
explores life after death. Store your digital information in a Mini 
Arcanum Capsule and become part of a digital cult of the dead.
Mission Eternity Lecture, 12 March 2009 at 20.00 hrs.

Agent Zai, a founding member of Etoy, gives an introduction to the work 
of Etoy and the conceptual ideas behind the MISSION ETERNITY project.

Digital Stowaway Workshop, 13 March 2009, 09.30 - 17.30 hrs

Participants (age 5 to +99) are invited on an eternal trip through space 
and time. Join the Mission Eternity project! In the workshop you'll be 
working on a MINI ARCANUM CAPSULE (a digital data collection of at least 
32MB).

Please bring your love letters, favorite books, (childhood) drawings, 
songs (as mp3 files), packages of the food you eat, cash register slips 
of last week, your trash of the day before, etc. The more, the better! 
Also take 25 euro to pay at the door.
