FREE HELP SESSIONS ** 5 November from 1pm to 7pm **

We get lots of emails asking for help with Ubuntu and Free Software - so
we're launching free monthly open sessions where you can come along and
get the face-to-face help you need.

You're welcome to bring your own laptops etc if you need help to install
or manage Ubuntu. We also have laptops available so we can show you how
- and you can practice. At our introductory session, we'll give you a
rundown of how to use free Ubuntu help on the internet and our staff and
volunteers can also help you with things like:

   * Ubuntu * Wordpress/Drupal * Free Software * Reviving PCs and
Laptops * social media

The sessions are open to everyone but please do register as it helps us
know how many volunteers we might need:

AWARDS FOR ALL GIVES THUMBS UP FOR MORE FREE TRAINING SESSIONS

Awards for All have just agreed that we can use the money we saved on OS
and software by using Ubuntu and FOSS can be re-applied to develop a
'Communications Tookit' - a series of free workshops aimed at giving you
the skills you need to develop really effective publicity using Free
Software including graphics, desktop publishing, podcasting, blogging
and websites.

This means we can do another free Wordpress session and we'll be adding
this to our 'Communications Toolkit'. More information soon . . .

Email [email protected] if you'd like more information or to register
your interest.
