Not really…

A short one minute and twenty nine seconds cutup edit of a recent live
performance of my group SBF,
in my old home town of Bristol (Marc's too..) A real buzz to play to old
friends in the crowd.

Drums - Joshua Simpson
Bass - Duncan Edwards
Guitar - Simon Mclennan

Best wishes,

Simon

Edit taken from the largely improvised song “Spy Theme”, the edit concentrating
on more abstract figures
within the greater broad ranging piece.

I used Fender pure nickel strings gauge 10, via a Pigtronix Fat Drive, reverse
digital delay
and amplified by a Vox AC15 with the blue cone Alnico speaker.
With plumbers joint tape on the tremolo arm threads to minimise rattle, which
is apparent on the
Fender Jazzmaster, solid alder body, made in Mexico with the re-positioned tail
piece and adjustomatic bridge.
Love in a guitar, the sculpted body hugs the midriff, and is offset to allow
for sitting comfortably
while playing - specifically for jazz players initially, while augmenting the
orchestras of the fifties. Fell foul
to surf and got taken up by various pop players… ’nuff said. S
