It boots. > > But how can I re-enable NPF in NetBSD 8? Well, I answer to my own question. It seems netbsd-8 modload(s) these modules automatically, once I have enabled npf in /etc/rc.conf. Without those three lines in /boot.cfg, npfctl is still working.
