As (apparently, too casually) I mentioned at the beginning of this thread : > >I have been using fuse-exfat to read large sdcards for some time > >and it has worked great. >From pkgsrc - filesystems/fuse-exfat/ The fuse-exfat works *really* well. I was completely surprised at how it integrated into NetBSD. I just installed the pkg and was astonished that the amd automounter just automagically used it to mount. For some reason, I didn't expect newfs to also use it but it apparently does, even though NetBSD doesn't appear to acknowledge that it (again) appears to format according to exFAT. This was especially nice as I have only found one other way to communicate with my Samsung phone (that doesn't do OTG) and that is to ftp into the phone through my wifi router. I tried to get a bluetooth usb adaptor to work and gave up trying to figure out how to get NetBSD to access it, even though it appeared to be supported by the kernel. And I can't figure out how to get the usb MTP/PTP stuff working on NetBSD. I do have to pull the battery to extract the sdcard, which sucks, but fuse-exfat at least makes it possible to access the card once removed. Also makes it so I can read the 128G video cameras on my bike and my wife's car. Thanks again!
