For many years, I periodically send emails using NetBSD.org address. I 
didn't think about SPF.

I never get any bounces for this. Now I see the SPF rule in the TXT 
record has "?all" or neutral or no policy.

In your case, is it that Google just likes that a SPF is there 
regardless of the qualifier?
